Irokko is the first mobile app that allows you to calculate your ecological footprint and reduce it by planting trees in several countries.

2. Why trees?

At the moment, reforestation remains one of the best solutions to combat climate change. Planting a tree is a simple, effective and beautiful gesture!

3. How does it work?

Change the world in 3 steps!

• Create your profile
• Evaluate your GHG emissions with our calculator developed by a Canadian research center recognized for its environmental expertise
• Choose your reforestation zone and plant your trees!

Once the reforestation is done, you will receive by email the photo and geolocation of your trees. A new monitoring is carried out one year and three years after the reforestation. Irokko ensures with its reforestation partners that the trees planted remain throughout the project duration. Multiple impacts: economic, social and environmental

Our reforestation partners are and will forever be co-ops so that the profits go back into the local economy and improve the quality of life in the areas near you! In addition, we pay the same amount for each tree planted in the world, in accordance with Article 23 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which establishes the principle "Equal pay for equal work".

We ensure you the monitoring of your trees, you will be able to follow their growth from your App and you will also receive their photos and their geolocation.

By planting a tree with Irokko you act not only on the environment but also on other Sustainable Development Goals, as the impact of our projects is evaluated by our academic research center partners.

• Reliable: we work with academic research centers in Canada and forestry cooperatives to provide you with a scientifically validated compensation service, as well as reforestation and quality monitoring in accordance with ISO 14064-2 standards.

• Safe: we protect your personal data, which is never disclosed. We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the version in accordance with Online Privacy Protection act.
